Kitty Collier smiles as she swings her basket just a bit. She always loves coming here to the flower market, partly because she loves the impossible variety of color and form, and partly because it means she is entertaining at home. She thinks to her self as she moves between buckets of roses and irises, that there is really something quite lovely about having the people who are dear to you visiting in your home, if only for an evening.

Kitty's ensemble consists of a simple cotton dress in the tiniest print, an even darker purple grid laid over royal purple. The dress is sleeveless and has a full skirt. It is just perfect for these hot, not quite summer days. Of course, when she left this morning it wasn't quite so hot as you might expect so she pulled the coordinating jacket from the closet as well. This simple little jacket features large bows at the front closure which echo the color of her dress, adding a bit of femininity to her simple attire.

And of course a basket of her favorite flowers.... We regret that we are unable to include shoes with this auction. We hope to be able to do so in the future.
