Walking along the beach early last week, Ms. Gene Marshall was spotted by a young artist who actually had the nerve to ask if he could sketch her. Always polite to her fans, Gene agreed. After about fifteen minutes, the young man turned his sketch pad so she could examine his efforts. He blushed furiously when Ms. Marshall clapped her hands and exclaimed, "Oh, it's me!" Upon which, Ms. Marshall was seen to blush also. The young man reports that Ms. Marshall accepted the drawing, saying that she would send it to her mother.
