New from Boxpleat Fashions

A bright morning early in May, the sun glints off the dew covered grass. The air positively sparkles with excitement as people begin to prepare. Jockeys and trainers wait around at the barns sizing up the competition while the social set begins to fill the stands. There's no place you'd rather be than Churchill Downs on Opening Day!

"At the Races," a new film from Monolithic Studios.

The publicity photos for this film are stunning! It promises to be a fine blend of mystery and fashion plate.

Linen Suit with Satin Camisole, Straw Hat, Purse and Shoes

Ms. Marshall is shown here in her costume "Mint Julep" from the pivotal scene when her character, Norma Saunders, recognizes the voice of a gentleman at the Club as the same voice she heard in the barn the night before!

The suit is made from a light mint colored linen, fully lined in white with a simple satin camisole underneath. We were enchanted by the working pearl closure on the front of the jacketFront Closure, and by the soft feminine touch of the circular cut peplum on the jacket back.

She also wears a large handmade white straw hat. A Leather Clutch Purse with a matching pearl clasp and White Kingstate shoes round out the costume.

This doll is optional
